European Youth Center (EYC) was founded in 2004 in Belgrade as an association of citizens with the aim of improving the position of young people in Serbia in all areas of life. Our values are based on democracy and respect for human rights, and we are committed to the youth rights to organize their own free time in a quality way.

The mission of the European Youth Center is to improve the position of young people in the Republic of Serbia in all areas of life, to promote mobility within Europe and around the world, as well as networking at the local, national and international levels. The activities of the European Youth Center are focused on the implementation of various educational trainings and workshops, conducting numerous researches and projects on raising awareness about environmental protection, prevention of violence, discrimination, prejudices and hate speech, promoting the mobility of young people and youth activism.

The activities of the European Youth Center are also directed towards providing various benefits for young people in the field of education, culture, sports, tourism, entertainment, recreational contents and youth events in Serbia and abroad. The European Youth Center is a strategic partner of Global Project Agency Serbia and Global Travel Group that are representing youth exchange programs – Work & Travel programs and International Student Identity Card – ISIC card. We can say that the European Youth Center has been developing the European Youth Card – EYCA card for more than 15 years in Serbia.

The card is intended for young people up to 30 years old and it presents a ticket for young Europeans to the world of information, mobility, culture and youth events. European Youth Card – EYCA cards aim to encourage young people’s mobility, through numerous services, discounts and benefits in Serbia and abroad, so students can explore the world they live, be informed about events in it and participate actively and fully in its construction. All projects that we develop are implemented with the patronage of the Council of Europe and UNESCO, as well as with the support of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and various Ministries. One of the indicators of our successful engagement is a large number of card users, numerous partners and companies with whom we have been cooperating for many years.
